Touch Screen Support
MyServant provides a powerful user interface. Choose to run it as a standard Windows application, or switch to full-screen mode for touch-screen support. All controls are customised for easy finger-style access - including a virtual keyboard & keypads.
| |

Floorplan Display
A floor-plan display of the home is available, for the visual controlling of devices. Simply touch a room to access its lights and appliances. What's more, sensors will animate when triggered, showing you movement on a real-time basis.
| |

Remote Access
MyServant operates as client applications connecting to a server application. This allows multiple instances of the client to run around the home. What's more, you can even take MyServant with you on a USB key and remotely connect to the server over the internet! No installation on a remote PC is necessary.
| |

Intelligent Lighting
One of the most powerful features of MyServant is its lighting intelligence, whereby sensors can be assigned to lights, and lights assigned to “logics”. This allows for easy configuration of how and when lights & devices are automated.
| |

Tracking of Occupants
Display a set of photos of the household occupant, and see a visual indication of who's home and who's not. Configurable logic even allows MyServant to base decisions on who’s home.
| |

Alarm Clocks
Alarm clocks can be configured per occupant, with speaker-notifications directed to particular rooms, individual schedules for each day, once-off override abilities, snoozing, random wakeup phrases, and intelligent integration with sensors
| |

Voicemail Access
Be notified both visually and audibly when an occupant has new voicemail. MyServant also knows not to re-notify until the number of voicemail changes for the occupant. It also allows each occupant to access their messages and play them in a desired room.
| |

Security System Control
A security system interface allows MyServant to integrate to an existing alarm system, providing the option to arm/disarm it via visual control. Personal Identification Numbers can be dynamically changed, and temporary visitors can be added on the fly - even with the ability to restrict the times they can enter.
| |

Character Switching
Bring on the house keeper display! MyServant provides a visual display of a butler/maid that represents HAL's current voice - whenever a microphone is listening, the character is shown. The current voice can also be changed on-screen, at the touch of a button.
| |

Random Comments
Give HAL some personality! MyServant will let your home respond with random comments. Comments are grouped into tolerances, so that the available phrases vary appropriately - and all are configurable from the touch screen!
| |

Targeted Announcements
Just like Star Trek's computer, MyServant can target particular announcements to appropriate rooms, to uphold courtesy around the home. Connect automated switches to your speakers, and then simply assign them to virtual speakers in MyServant.
| |

Infrared Control
MyServant extends the infrared-control functionality of HAL to visual access. Control your infrared-receiving devices; simply select one from a list and control it with a virtual on-screen remote control.
| |

HVAC Control
Whether you have a HVAC (Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning) system tied into HAL, or want to simulate it by controlling your air conditioner via infrared, MyServant caters for both! Switch between zones and manage temperature and modes.
| |

What's-On View
As opposed to the floorplan view, this view is a more detailed display of what's operating around the home. A list of operative devices are provided, as well as information of how they were activated, and progress bars showing the time of how long before each will auto turn off.
| |

Weather Display
Utilising HAL's ability to retrieve weather information, MyServant will format and display this on-screen. View today's temperature at a glance, see a weekly forecast and view online satellite photos.
| |

Battery Tracking
Ever get tired of a device not working due to flat batteries? MyServant allows the battery usage of any items around the home to be tracked. A list provides information on battery-types, when they were last changed, and how long until another replacement is due
| |

Macros 'Display n Play'
For when you're in a hurry, MyServant allows quick & easy execution of HAL's macros, groups and scenes. Simply select the type (eg: scenes) and tap the desired setting
| |

Internet Access
Should your PC be equipped with internet access, a touch-screen would not be complete without a website facility. General bookmarks can be created for the family, or occupants can even personalise their own - only accessible by entering their PIN.
| |

Addressbook Access
Utilising HAL's telephone integration, MyServant will show your phone book's contacts on an easy-to-access page. It provides dynamic filtering as you type, and access to extra-information at the touch of an entry
| |

Incoming Call Display
Utilising HAL's telephone integration, MyServant will hover up a message on incoming calls, showing the name and number of whos currently calling. Also, a list of incoming calls history is available, showing wither whether they were answered or missed
| |

Customisable Toolbar
MyServant also provides a toolbar where icons can be placed on, to execute custom applications. And to simplify switching back, executing MyServant.exe will cause the current instance to jump to the front!
| |

X10 Console
For those who use the X10 protocol, a testing utility is provided to send and receive raw X10 commands, as well as directly controlling X10 devices.
| |

Command Line Interaction
This allows various features of MyServant to be control by 3rd party programs, such as HAL. Thus your existing HAL rules & macros can make use of MyServant features!
